I wrote last week how I've been really quite slow off the mark this year. And if I'm honest, I'm still struggling to get going.  And I think part of the reason why I procrastinate and put things off is because of a worry that what I do won't be good en ...

For the longest time Nerys had very little hair. If you look back at my Living arrows photos from 2016 you can see that at the start of the year her hair was still really quite short.  And even now it doesn't seem that long. But then when it's washe ...

One of the best parts of being a parent for me is watching the relationship grow between my two children. It's been amazing watching Rhys take on the role of big brother over the last three years.  And it just melts my heart seeing how much Nerys adore ...

Week two of Living arrows already, and I feel like I've not really got started yet this year. I'm still not feeling well after coming down with a flu-type bug on new year's eve, and I've sort of been in survival mode rather than get-stuff-done mode! ...

I mentioned in my living arrows post this morning that I've not been feeling well since new year's eve. Whatever this flu/virus/chest infection thing is, it's really knocked me out.  I've been tucked up in bed by about 8 o'clock most nights so far this ...

So here we are. 2017. A brand new year.  And a chance to get stuck into the living arrows project for a second go around! Last year I had no set pattern to my living arrows posts.  Some weeks it was a photo of the two children together.  Some wee ...

You can use these nifty little devices to track so many different things and they're brilliantly lightweight and the perfect size to pop in a bag or pocket.

If you want to know a bit more about it then you can read my full review over on the blog!

We were recently sent some amazing toys from @bandaiuk for the children, including these dress designing kits.

Nerys and I have had so much fun with these, using the different pieces of fabric and accessories to design lots of outfits.

The only question is, how can we go about getting some of them made into actual lifesize dresses?!
This is a question I'm trying to ask myself more o This is a question I'm trying to ask myself more often - what will I do this week to bring a little bit more joy into my life?

So I'm putting the same question out there to you!

If you've got a bad case of the Mondays (complete with chainsaw bear!) then take a few minutes to think about what little things you can do this week to make things a bit more fun and enjoyable.

For me this week it'll be having a mooch in Flying Tiger when I'm in town for a meeting, getting out in the sunshine for the school run, and maybe giving 'how I met your father' a go one evening once the kids are in bed!
Little snippets of our day. I try and do a 10 on Little snippets of our day.

I try and do a 10 on 10 project each month, where I take 10 photos throughout the day on the 10th of each month.

This month I also tried to remember to take little video clips through the day, and this is the result.
I had a pretty rough start to this year (fairly su I had a pretty rough start to this year (fairly sure I'm not the only one to say that).

I'm coming out the other side if it now, but with a renewed sense of just wanting to be happy.

Not necessarily in a big, all-encompassing way. Just in lots of little ways. Noticing the things in life that bring me joy and making time to just have fun and to do things that make me feel happiness in all its different forms.

Who's with me?!
I'm really looking forward to some family time ove I'm really looking forward to some family time over the Easter holidays (and keeping my fingers crossed for some nice sunny days to head out for some walks!)

Have your children already finished for the term or have they got a few more days left like my two?
