Have you ever had a time when someone’s asked you what you did at the weekend, and you just can’t remember?
It’s like you know you did stuff, but it was all so normal, so standard, so routine that you don’t really know what to say when someone asks you about it.
That’s how I feel now, trying to write this post.
I know we’ve done stuff over the last week. We’ve been busy with the juggle of school work, and housework, and work-work. But it was one of the weeks that I think is destined to disappear into the blur of all these weeks at home.
Nothing really noteworthy happened.
Rhys had another virtual cubs meeting. Nerys has a wobbly tooth that is still, somehow, hanging on in there albeit at a very unnatural angle.
We did make it out for a walk on the beach at the weekend which was amazing.

We went down mid-morning when the tide was in and it was just what we all needed. To breathe in the sea air. To spend a few minutes just watching the water.
I think we were out for about an hour in the end, just walking along the beach and then back through Victoria park.
It’s something we’ve done countless times before.
So normal, so standard, so routine.
Which made it so perfect.
In all the chaos out there at the moment, I suppose it’s a real luxury to have a week where there’s nothing to report.

Such beautiful photos! I completely agree – I find days are merging into each other and if you were to ask me what I’d done on a particular day I wouldn’t have a clue!
I think this could sum up my week this week! I bet the sea air seems even more valuable right now. #livingarrows
I completely get that feeling, every week seems the same to me at the moment! x
Holly has her first wobbly tooth and its taking forever to come out, she can’t wait!
I know what you mean our weekends are the same. Although I would love to make it to the beach. The kids are desperate to go.
