Living arrows 2017 – 6/52

This past weekend has been all about little trips to the beach.

My brother-in-law is visiting from the Isle of Man with his wife and daughter, so we’ve been making the most of any windows of sunshine and heading out for a run on the beach in Swansea bay.

Our niece is a month older than Nerys, and it’s so amazing to watch the two of them together.

They only see each other a few times a year, but they get on so well when they are together.

And they’ve been really enjoying these little trips to the beach together.  Along with Rhys, they’ve built sandcastles and run away from waves and generally just enjoyed being together.

So this week’s Living Arrows photos are from one of our Swansea bay outings.

I love this photo of Nerys.  The hint of cheekiness in her eyes, and her slightly windswept hair.  One day we’ll give in and take her for a haircut, but for now we both just love her hair the way it is.  With it’s random curls and crazy double crown.

As for Rhys, well he really does need a haircut!  His hair seems to suddenly grow overnight.

One day it’s fine, the next it’s right in his eyes and round his ears.  So that’s a job for the next week or two!

I love this photo of him too though.  Steve was stood behind me making him laugh so I could get this picture, and I just love his expression.

I can’t help but smile along with him when I look at it!
