#ShowYouWereThere round up

‘Show you were there’ round up

It’s Sunday, which can only mean one thing around here – time for another round up from my lovely little Instagram community #ShowYouWereThere.

In case you’ve not heard about it before, #ShowYouWereThere is all about getting more parents in more photos.  So any photos that feature you, or your partner, in some way, shape or form then just tag them with #ShowYouWereThere when you share them on Instagram to join in, and potentially be featured in one of these little round ups!

Now, on to my four favourite photos that were shared in the last week.

First up is this beautiful bump shot from Lyndsay at Fizzy Peaches.  It’s funny when you think how long the 9 months of pregnancy can seem, but then the same amount of time flies by once they’re born!  Violet will be one before we know it!

My second pick for this week is from Cath at Battlemum.

It’s such a lovely photo, that hopefully helped Cath to remember the good moments from this week rather than just the rough day that she talks about in the caption!

Today has not ended well. I think the 2 hours he was awake for on Tuesday night caught up with him today. Despite being in good form this morning and going off to kindergarten fine, I arrived to find him indoors on the thinking chair while everyone else was playing outside. His behaviour wasn't good today I was told. Then, after a 30 minute danger nap, he screamed his head off for 30 minutes while my folks and I tried to eat dinner. It took my Dad to calm him down enough for him to stop crying and eat some dinner. He also didn't fall asleep until 10pm! Just as well he hasn't got school tomorrow as it's another public holiday in Portugal tomorrow. This afternoon/evening has been tough!

Next up is this lovely photo from Jaymee at The Mum Diaries.

It’s just such a happy picture, it really made me smile this week.

My fourth and final pick for this week is from Lianne at Ankle Biters Adventures.

I love how cosy they look in this photo, and I also really love Lianne’s comment about how different her children are from each other, it’s something I find so fascinating to see in my own children!

L I T T L E ▪ L O V E this one has been extra loving lately towards me 💖 I'm not complaining she is normally a Daddy's girl 👨👧 she will be all for me when James is at work then the minute he walks through the door she drops me like a fly 😂but lately she's been wanting Mummy as she puts it 😍 the difference between having a girl and a boy is fascinating 👌 I can call Archie for a cuddle and no matter what he is doing he will drop it and run to me 🤗 I will ask Frankie she will say no I don't want to if she's busy 🙈 Frankie knows what she wants and takes it 😂 Archie is much more reserved 😊 if Frankie can't get what she wants she will scream and I mean like blood curdling scream with a tantrum similar to being possessed exorsist style 😱 where as Archie will just show me the wobbly lower lip and get on with it 😕 I love watching their different traits and personalities come through 👍but I did say to James today if we had two girls I think it would have been breakdown central by now 😂 anyone else's boys and girls like this? #freespiritedchildhood #myfamilyadventures, #Lifecloseup, #LittleFierceOne #happylittlebuttons, #WorldofLittles, #rememberingthesedays #littleandbrave #momentsoverposes, #thatsdarling #cherishthesemoments, #myhappycapture, #momswithcameras, #clickinmoms, #pixel_kids, #candidchildhood #our_everyday_moments, #littlestoriesofmylife #themagicineveryday, #whatevertheweatherkids #awanderfulchildhood #beinthepicture #perfectandproud #childhoodunplugged #mamtribe #capturingtheday #wildandfreechildren #showyouwerethere #motherhoodintheraw #motherdaughtertime

Thank you so much to everyone who is using #ShowYouWereThere, I love seeing your photos popping up over on instagram, they always bring a huge smile to my face!

Now, my turn.

Last weekend we went out for a walk on the beach and around Victoria Park, where we stopped to take a few family photos for November’s Me and Mine project post.  We managed one or two nice ones, and a few sillier ones, which so often end up being my favourites.

How great is Rhys’ face and pose in this one?!
