It’s almost the end of the month, and it’s Sunday so that means it’s time for another round up from my little Instagram community #ShowYouWereThere.
In case you’ve not come across it before, #ShowYouWereThere is all about getting more parents in more photos, both with and for our children.
My first pick for this round up is from Lauren at Scrapbook blog. It’s such a lovely family photo, and makes me want to head down to our local woods for a good stomp around!
Next up is this gorgeously floral photo from Sabrina at The Mummy Stylist. I love the happy faces in this picture, and the absolutely beautiful setting.
My third pick this time is another brilliantly joyful family photo from Emma at Sophie Ella and Me. I just love photos like this one that are so full of smiles that you can’t help but smile too.
My last choice for this round up is from Kim at OddHogg. This is such a lovely photo, and a really nice tribute to her little birthday boy in the caption.
Thank you so much to everyone who is using #ShowYouWereThere, I love seeing your photos popping up over on Instagram, they always make me smile so much.
Now my turn.
I’m testing the waters in a new niche for my photography business – personal brand photography for entrepreneurs, small businesses and creatives. And I needed some photos of me to use as I start to talk about it.
So I grabbed my tripod and remote and took a few self portraits. This is one of my favourites, that really feels like me.
If you’d like to join in with my little community and possibly be featured in my next round up (with a nice link back to your blog!) then just share a photo of yourself over on instagram using #ShowYouWereThere. It’s all about getting more parents in more photos. And if you’d like to take part in my guest post series ‘The photo I’m thankful for’ then take a look at this post or email me at thisgloriouslife@gmail.com for more information.
I love these! Thank you so much for building this little community of parents who want their kids to remember what they look like when they’re grown up!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, and for using #ShowYouWereThere! x
