I woke up on Sunday morning to the sound of rain pouring and the wind howling.
I lay in bed for a few minutes wondering what we would do with our day.
Our plans for a morning walk on the beach with Nana and Pops would have to be shelved on a day like this.
But then, by the time the day actually started a little over an hour later, everything had changed.
The wind was still a bit wild, but it had blown the rain through. And we were left with blue skies and bright sunshine.
So off to the beach we went!
How lucky we are to be able to pop to see the sea on a moment’s notice, and in response to the whims of the weather.

She definitely looks like she’s enjoying a trip to the beach. I have always lived near the sea but I’m not a big fan of the beach – maybe we should make the effort to go more often though, I bet my boys would love it. #LivingArrows
