I’ve been experimenting a bit with my photography style lately.
Reassessing what I want my sessions to look like with my business, and playing around with different styles in my personal photography.
A few weeks ago I shared a photo of Nerys which was much softer than I would normally like. But I fell in love with that softness.
This week I’m sharing a photo of Rhys that is also a bit different from my other photos.
There is a bit more contrast than I would normally have. And I took the photo from above, with him looking up at me, whereas normally I like to get on his level and shoot from there.
I love this though.
So often he seems to be growing up so quickly and getting so big.
This photo makes me feel like he’s still my little boy.

I love it. So beautiful and you are right I think it really makes him look little 🙂 x #livingarrows
I know when pictures are taken of me I prefer them being taken with the camera at a higher angle as I feel it’s more flattering. With children, they are so photogenic, that they seem to be able to take any angle. We see our children in all different angles so why shouldn’t the camera. It’s good to experiement. Great picture. x #livingarrows
Thank you, and I think most of us would agree with you that photos taken from a higher angle tend to be more flattering! x
Aaw that is such a beautiful photo. I love it. x #LivingArrows
Thank you so much! x

I love you your photography and your new style #LivingArrows
What a sweet photo – I love the style. I like shots with natural looking expressions, capturing the moment.

Awww such a wonderful photo – they do grow so fast, so it’s nice to find a photo of them when they still look little! #LivingArrows
Such a beautiful capture. He looks so sweet and innocent here too.xx #livingarrows
It’s great to be able to have lovely photos that are something different to normal. Lovely shot #livingarrows
He really does look like a little boy still – love the angle. It looks very autumnal too! x
Oh that’s a gorgeous shot – that angle with him looking up does make him look so small still. I love the expression in his eyes too. #livingarrows
