After a wet and windy day on Saturday, Sunday came along with blue skies and sunshine, but Rhys was absolutely adamant that he didn’t want to go out anywhere. I think this term at school is wearing him out a bit, so he just wanted some quiet time at home, which I can completely sympathise with !
So after lunch Steve took Nerys out for a blast of fresh air and a run on the beach, and Rhys and I stayed home. We sat together in the kitchen and I drank coffee while he made angry birds figures out of playdough.
After a few minutes I had to run and get my camera because he was sat in this gorgeous natural light and his blue eyes were just sparkling.
I got a few photos of him deep in concentration, getting the details just right on his angry birds, then he started performing for the camera a tad, and I got this one. Perfect!

His expression is just THE BEST and that light really is fantastic! x
Haha, he is quite expressive! And we do get some lovely light in certain parts of our house! x
