Last week was the first full week back in school, so it was a bit of a quiet one for us.
The children both seemed pretty tired all week, and are actually now sounding like they’re coming down with colds. So we’ve not really been out and about much, and have just been enjoying some down time at home after school each day.
All of which means there haven’t been that many photo opportunities this week. Sometimes though, little moments of magic happen in those simple everyday moments, and I’m so glad that I’ve had my camera nearby to just snap away.

This was taken one evening after the children had been in the bath.
They were messing around on our bed, laughing hysterically as they clambered over their Daddy and then tried to escape his tickles. And the light was just perfect for a few quick photos. I just love the way you can almost hear Rhys laughing when you look at the photo, and Steve and Nerys in the background just perfectly captures that moment of post-bath mayhem.
These are the moments that I hope my children remember when they’re older.
These everyday moments, part of the daily routine, nothing special.
But beautifully special all the same.

That’s such a ugoegeoys photo! SO much joy #livingarrows
Aww what a lovely smile #livingarrows
Thank you! I think it’s pretty lovely, but then I’m rather biased! x
They really are the moments you’ll remember when you’re older and it’s a gorgeous photo. Mine sounds like she’s coming down with a cold after one whole week at school #LivingArrows

Thank you, I do really love the moment that I caught on camera! x
They look like they’re having such the best time – and I love how perfect the lighting is despite it being bath time! x
your children will love to look back on your pics, mine do and the memories that go with them, i recently found an old tape (!) of my children when they were 6,7 and my 9 year old twins, the night before xmas and they cant believe how they sounded!! they are now 21, 22. and 24!
Oh wow, what a great find! I remember finding a tape of me as a young child, and finding it hilarious how high pitched my voice was! x
They look like they are having a fantastic time, that’s a brilliant picture! These are the BEST moments to capture. I love poses, but I think moments are my absolute favourite.
I am definitely a fan of moments over poses! Thank you for your lovely comment. x
