11 facts about me:
3) I’m from Kent but have lived in Swansea for nearly 15 years now
4) I have a degree in Psychology and Philosophy. I loved studying these subjects but for years wasn’t sure how I would ‘use’ this degree. Now I love making use of it writing this blog and in my photography business.
5) Oh yeah, I have a photography business!
6) I will still happily watch Friends every day. And Gilmore girls. Even though I’ve seen both more times than I should admit.
7) I have two children and would like a third at some point, maybe because I’m the youngest of three?
8) I’ve always wanted to learn sign language properly – I love using makaton with my kids to help them communicate.
9) There were only 11 guests at my wedding and, for me and my husband, it was perfect!
10) I was almost run over by the Prince of Monaco as a child.
11) I’ve already written 2 ‘facts about me’ posts and have found doing this one really difficult because I didn’t want to just replicate what I’ve written before!
Here are my answers to the questions Silly Mummy asked:
1) What are your favourite and least favourite things about blogging?
My favourite thing about blogging is the way it acts as an outlet for all the thoughts running through my head! My least favourite thing is the doubts you sometimes have before hitting ‘publish’ on a post, wondering if anyone will like it, or even read it.
2) What is the strangest thing you believed as a child?
I remember at one point believing there was a ghost at my primary school, and doing tests to prove it, like leaving a 5p coin somewhere and seeing if it had moved by the next day. Very scientific!
3) What is your favourite word, and why?
I have two, fisticuffs and shenanigans. I just love the way they sound!
4) What animal are you most scared of, and why?
Strangely, considering I had a few hamsters growing up, I’m actually pretty scared of them, and rats. I think it’s the fear that they’ll bite me when handling them!
5) What amazes you?
Watching babies and children grow, learn and develop. It’s seriously amazing.
6) If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
This question has actually really stumped me, I’ve even been browsing baby name sites for inspiration! But I think after 30 odd years I’m quite happy with my own name!
7) What book have you never read but always meant to?
Catch 22, I have it on my bookshelf but haven’t got round to reading it yet.
8) What was your favourite game as a child?
We used to play massive games of 40/40 when I was a kid, with all the neighbour kids, and it was nerve-wracking at times, but a lot of fun!
9) Would you rather always have to say everything on your mind, or never speak again? Why?
I think I’d rather always have to say everything on my mind. It would drive me crazy to never be able to speak at all!
10) If you could meet one historical figure, who would it be? Why?
Amelia Earhart. I would love to speak to her and see what inspired her to take on the challenges that she did. Also, I’d love to find out what actually happened to her!
11) Describe your perfect meal.
I have two takes on this:
a) Dominos pizza and various sides. Eaten off my knees while watching a cheesy action film with my husband.
b) A sunday roast, cooked by my Dad, with all my family around me.

Great list – I’m afraid of hamsters too! They move way too fast for my liking! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Haha, glad I’m not the only one! x
I love FRIENDS too, I have them on DVD and still watch them, even though I have seen them a million times – I would love to take you on in a Friends Trivia throwdown!
I LOL’d for real at your ghost in your school bit – that is awesome. The strangest thing I believed, that my mum told me is that if you picked off a mole from your body you would bleed forever and die – I was in mortal fear of accidentally bleeding to death my whole childhood!
Kat x
Oh my word, I’ll have to remember to be careful what I tell my kids knowing that they’ll believe things like what you were told about moles! x
