Stickerscape review name label stickers

All set for school with Stickerscape

I remember when I was younger I would get so fed up seeing all the shops full of ‘back to school’ displays right at the start of the summer holidays.  Sometimes before the holidays had even started.

Now that I’m a parent though I sort of get it.

Don’t get me wrong, it still feels pretty mean to be talking about going back to school before the children have even broken up for summer.  But I understand that feeling of wanting to get organised now.

The summer will fly by and before we know it the new school year will be starting and I want to have as much sorted as I can in advance, rather than face a last minute panic to buy uniforms and lunch boxes.

One thing I have already have ticked off my back-to-school to-do list is getting name labels, thanks to the lovely people at Stickerscape.

All set for school with Stickerscape

As soon as your child starts school, or nursery, you realise how important it is to stick their name on pretty much everything they own.

Jumpers seem to mysteriously disappear on a regular basis, and if they don’t have a name on them they’ll be destined to lurk forever in the lost property box.  And it’s not just clothes; from books to bags to drinks bottles, you really do need to label everything your child takes with them to school.

Luckily though, the days of sewing little tags into every item of clothing are gone and things are much easier now with these bright and colourful labels from Stickerscape.

Stickerscape name labels review

We were kindly sent a mixed set of labels for each of the children.

These sets are fantastic, basically covering all your name label bases.  There are stick on labels in a variety of shapes and sizes and iron-on name labels in different sizes too.

Nerys’ choice – unicorn themed labels

There’s a great range of designs to choose from and it took Nerys quite a while to decide which ones she wanted most.  In the end she picked the unicorn pack, and she was so happy when they arrived in the post.

The labels in this set are all pretty pastel colours and have pictures of unicorns, rainbows, hearts and flowers on them.

Stickerscape stick on name labels review

Nerys is really taken with the pretty colours and pictures on her labels, while I particularly like the fact that they come in such a good variety of shapes and sizes.

There’s a label for pretty much everything you can think of needing to have your child’s name on.

Stickerscape stick on name label review

We’ve already used some of the rectangular stickers to label her back pack and drinks bottle and Nerys loves admiring the stickers when she goes in her bag to find her bottle after school.

Her favourite thing so far though is what we did with one of the circular stickers.

I cut one of the stickers in half and stuck the pieces in her pair of school shoes, so she can work out which shoe goes on which foot by making sure the rainbow picture looks right before putting them on.  I can’t remember where I first saw this idea, but I know I’ve seen it several times over the last few years and always thought it was a fun idea for helping children feel more independent.

Rhys’ choice – space themed labels

When it came to choosing a design for Rhys’ labels the decision was a bit harder.

There were a few options that would’ve been great for him, like the dinosaur or insect designs, but in the end we picked out the space themed pack.  I like the fact that there are some brighter labels in there, like the yellow ones, but quite a few of the labels are darker and a bit more subtle which I think works well for Rhys.

Stickerscape space themed stick on name labels review

We’ve already used one of his labels on his lunch bag after realising that at least two other children in his class have got the same one.

I think most of his stickers will end up on the inside cover of his books; he has got an ever-growing library of books on all sorts of subjects, both fiction and non-fiction and he loves taking them to school to show his friends and to read at break time.

I do worry about them getting lost though so feel much happier with them going to school when I know they’re clearly labelled with his name.

Stickerscape space theme name sticker labels review

We are really impressed with the name labels from Stickerscape so far.

In the past I’ve used another brand of name stickers which have done the job well, but were also really plain and simple.  I love how bright and colourful these ones from Stickerscape are, and how useful the colours and pictures are for helping young children recognise them as theirs even if they can’t quite read their own name yet.

The stick on labels are really lovely quality, they feel thick and substantial and stick down nice and securely.

We’ve washed Nerys’ water bottle several times now and the label looks as good as new.  They’ve been designed to be tough and durable and can happily go through the dishwasher and in the microwave and freezer.

I haven’t put the iron-on labels to the test yet, mainly because I hardly ever iron anything.

So, I’m waiting until I’ve bought all the uniform we need for September and will then iron on the new labels in one go.  They look lovely and easy to do though, and once they’re ironed on they’ll survive in both the washing machine and tumble dryer which is really important considering how grubby the children are when they come home from school and how often their uniform has to be washed.

If you’re looking to get a step ahead before the back-to-school panic descends at the start of September then head over to the Stickerscape website and order some of these gorgeous name labels.  There are different pack sizes to choose from depending on how many items you think you’ll need to label, but I think the mixed pack that I went for is a great option to really cover all your bases!

And while you’re there check out the stunning range of wall stickers they do too.  They look like such a fun way to update and brighten up a child’s bedroom, and could be a really fun project for those rainy days that we’re bound to get at some point in the school summer holidays!

Sachet of spatone being taken out of handbag

Keeping my energy levels up with Spatone

I have been a mum for a little over 7 years now, and I have spent a fair chunk of those years feeling tired.

My children generally sleep through the night now.  And, to be fair, on the nights that they do wake up thanks to a bad dream or needing the toilet or whatever other random reason, they seem to settle back to sleep quite quickly.

I’m nowhere near as tired now as I was in the first year of Nerys’ life when I was up so many times each night I lost count.

But life is still really quite busy, and I have still been feeling tired even though I’m lucky enough to get a decent amount of undisturbed sleep at night.

So I’ve been looking at what I can do to try and get (and then keep) my energy levels up throughout the day.  I’ve been drinking more water, have been trying to hit 10,000 steps each day and fit in some regular exercise thanks to my old workout dvds.  I’ve also been looking at my diet, and have realised that I don’t think I get enough iron from the food I eat.

So I’ve been taking Spatone liquid iron for a month or so now, to increase my iron levels to help maintain my energy levels.
keeping energy levels up with spatone

I’ve been taking the apple flavour Spatone, which comes in a box of 28 individual sachets.

If you’ve not heard of Spatone before, it’s basically sachets of iron-rich water from Snowdonia national park.  The apple version that I’ve been using also contains apple concentrate and vitamin C, which helps our bodies absorb the iron more easily.

Box of spatone liquid iron sachets

It might seem a strange thing to mention but I like the fact that the box is quite compact and is actually full up with sachets, rather than a lot of empty space.

I keep the box out on the worktop in my kitchen and it’s really easy to reach in and grab a sachet in the morning, to start my day off well.

open box of spatone liquid iron sachets

If you don’t have time in the morning to take one, or just prefer to have it a bit later in the day, then the sachets are a great size to pop in your bag and take out and about with you.

They’ve really been designed to make taking them nice and easy, and without the side effects people often seem to get from taking iron in tablet form.

sachet of spatone being taken out of handbag

I tend to have my Spatone first thing in the morning, mixed in with a small glass of orange juice.

It’s recommended that you wait at least half an hour after taking it before you eat or drink anything else, especially things with caffeine in them.  This works quite well for me, because I tend to wait to have my breakfast (and my coffee) once I’m home from doing the school run.

If you prefer to eat breakfast almost as soon as you wake up, then you could have some Spatone mid-morning instead.

You can add a sachet to some fruit juice, or just drink it as it comes, straight out of the sachet.  The main thing is to leave a bit of time between taking it and eating/drinking anything else.

glass of juice and spatone sachets

I’ve been using Spatone for a good few weeks now and am definitely finding it’s helping me to feel less tired.

I also love the fact that getting the iron my body needs helps support a healthy immune system and improves cognitive function.

One of the things I notice when I’m tired is that I get really foggy-headed and this has definitely improved since starting this new routine of taking Spatone every day, along with drinking more water and getting more regular exercise.

While supplements shouldn’t replace a healthy, balanced diet, I find it really reassuring to know that my body is now getting the iron it needs, so that I can maintain the energy levels I need as a busy parent.

You can get Spatone from Amazon, and you can keep up to date with all the latest news from Spatone by following them on their Facebook page.

spring refresh Home Bargains

A quick spring refresh with Home Bargains

After a long, long winter it is finally starting to feel like spring around here.

It is so lovely to be able to throw open all the windows and let the fresh air and gorgeous sunlight into the house.  But have you ever noticed that in that bright natural light you can suddenly see all the dust that’s been hidden by the dark winter?  It’s definitely time for a spot of spring cleaning and to refresh our house a little bit.

We were sent a few bits and pieces from Home Bargains recently to help spruce things up a bit around here, and it’s been lovely to get moving and blow away the winter cobwebs from the house.

quick spring refresh home bargains

The first room I tackled was the bathroom.  We were sent some rubber gloves, some fab microfiber cleaning clothes and this Cif power and shine bathroom spray, so I couldn’t really avoid cleaning this room!

I normally use just a general antibacterial cleaning spray in our bathroom and it always seems to have done a decent enough job of keeping things clean.  After using this Cif though I think I might make the switch to a spray that is specifically designed for bathrooms.

The sink and the bath were really sparkling when I’d finished cleaning them with this.

And I love the fact that it is meant to help repel water and dirt, so cleaning the bathroom in the future should be even quicker and easier!

spring refresh cif power and shine bathroom

After tackling the sink, bath and toilet with the Cif spray I did the mirror and glass shelf with a vinegar-based spray and the microfiber clothes for a nice streak-free finish.  I popped the mats in the wash and cleaned the floor.

Then all that was left to do was put out this lovely scented candle to keep the room smelling nice and fresh!

spring refresh cotton breeze scented candle

I think that the way your home smells can have a big impact on how fresh and clean it feels, and I really love reed diffusers for the constant scent they give.

We were sent this vanilla orchid diffuser and it smells lovely.

It’s sitting on the mantelpiece in our lounge and I can actually smell it right now from my desk.  It’s not too overpowering but it is a noticeable scent, which I like.

Putting it on display on the mantelpiece also prompted me to take everything else off there first and give it a good dusting, which is something I don’t do anywhere near as regularly as I should.  I’m working on a bit of a cleaning schedule at the moment to try and get into a bit of a routine to make sure jobs like that actually get done on a more regular basis!

Along with adding a new fragrance, putting new photos or decorative items up at home can really freshen things up for the new season.

I’m planning on getting some of our family photos printed out in a bigger size than the prints I’ve been putting in our family album, so that we can frame them and hang them up somewhere in the house.

In the meantime though, I’ve moved a few of our current pieces around a bit to freshen things up, and to make room for this lovely ‘there’s no place like home’ frame that we were sent from Home Bargains.

spring refresh there's no place like home

I’ve hung it up in our hallway and it’s lovely to come home to every day.

Now I just have to decide if I want to hang up a photo or two with the cute little pegs, or if we’ll use it to hang up notes to remind ourselves of any important things we need take with us when we leave the house!

This quick spring refresh has really spurred me on to get the whole house sorted and ready for the new season.  I think I may well be popping in to Home Bargains next time I’m in that part of town to pick up a few more bits and pieces.  The cleaning products are always a great deal there, and there are always fab bits of homeware that I love browsing through!

Have you started your spring cleaning yet?  Do you follow a particular cleaning schedule or just tackle things as and when they look like they need doing?

ivel valley britbits wild bird food

BritBits bird food review – Ivel Valley

I think it might be a bit of an understatement to say that this winter has been a bit of a chilly one.

After a bit of respite from the cold last week the freezing weather has returned in style over the last few days.  While we’ve been wrapped up warm and cwtched up inside, this cold snap will have been really tough on all the wildlife.

We used to feed the birds in our garden regularly, especially after we were sent some amazing ready peck bird seed to review a few summers ago.  After a particularly windy day took out our bird feeder though we let things slip and, for the most part, stopped putting food out for them.

So I was so pleased when the lovely people at Ivel Valley got back in touch to ask if we would like to try some of their new BritBits bird food.  It was perfect timing as I was planning on getting some more food in to put out for the birds again, with the really cold weather sticking around.

BritBits bird food review

The BritBits bird food that we were sent is different from the types of food we’ve had in the past.

We tend to have quite classic bird seed, or occasionally fat balls, to attract more birds to the garden.  These though are quinoa and suet bird pellets, and were designed to be a bit of a superfood for birds, giving them all the nutrition they need for growth and development.

BritBits wild bird pellets ivel valley

What I really love about these pellets is that they’re really versatile.

We bought a mesh feeder to put ours in, but you don’t have to.  The pellets can also just be put on a bird table, or even just on the ground in your garden.  I’ve seen some lovely ideas for open topped bird feeders made from old teacups or even from wooden lolly sticks, and these BritBits pellets would be great for a feeder like that.

BritBits wild bird pellets in hand ivel valley

Each pellet is a pretty decent size which makes grabbing some to sprinkle around in the garden really easy.

We also found that they go really nicely in our standard bird feeder as well as the mesh one that we bought.

BritBits wild bird pellets ivel valley

I’m quite sad to admit that because we hadn’t been regularly putting food out for the birds they weren’t really visiting our garden that much.  And it did take a few days for the pellets to start disappearing from the hanging feeder.

I did put a few handfuls out on the decking that went quite quickly but it mainly seemed to be magpies eating it all which I didn’t really want!  After a few days though, and a bit of hovering around the kitchen window keeping an eye on the feeder I spotted more birds starting to appear and enjoy the BritBits.

BritBits wild bird pellets in feeder tree ivel valley

It has been so lovely to see the birds starting to visit us again.

We’ve had blackbirds and some tits, although they’ve been too quick for me to have a good look I think it’s mainly been coal tits visiting our feeder.  I think we may also have had a wren or two.  I’m hoping that the word will spread around the bird community that our garden is open for business again and we’ll start to see more and more of them coming for a little something good to eat!

Have you been putting food out for the birds this winter?  What type of birds do you tend to find at your feeder?

child eating rustlers chicken burger

Trying new flavours with the Rustlers burger hacking challenge

In their own different ways, both my children can be quite picky eaters.

They have their favourite foods that they would quite happily have for every meal.  For Rhys it’s sandwiches and for Nerys it’s a plate of cheesy pasta.  If you ask them what they would like for dinner, you can pretty much guarantee that those will be the foods they ask for.

For a long time it was hard to get Rhys to eat different foods, but we’re coming out the other side of it now.  He’s started to ask to try new things which is just amazing for him.  Even if he does still pull the same ‘new food’ face that he’s pulled since he was a baby.  It’s brilliant, he looks slightly disgusted when he tries something new, but will then smile and tell you he really likes it!

The most recent thing he’s asked to try is burgers in buns, so it was great timing when we were invited to take part in the Rustlers burger hacking challenge recently.

rustlers southern fried chicken burgers

The challenge is all about finding fun ways to ‘hack’ your Rustlers burgers, to make a quick and easy meal for your family that’s perfect for busy weekends.

We got some southern fried chicken burgers for the children to try for lunch on Sunday, after Rhys had his swimming lesson.  I also bought some beef burgers for me and Steve, with the idea being that Rhys and Nerys could then try a bite of those as well, seeing as we were trying new things that day!

One of the things that can be really frustrating if you have a picky eater is spending a lot of time cooking a meal, just for your child to take a tiny bite and then refuse to eat any more.

So what I really loved about taking part in this challenge was the fact that the burgers cook in just over a minute in the microwave.  No fuss.  No feeling like I’ve wasted a lot of time if the children didn’t like them.

You can put the burger in the bun and cook it all together in the microwave, but I tend to find that the bun feels a bit soggy when you do it that way.  So I cooked the burger on it’s own in the microwave and popped the bun in the toaster for about 30 seconds to warm it through.

We did find that the chicken burgers were a bit on the tough side, so I’m not sure if I adjusted the cooking time quite right, or if our microwave is more powerful than standard.  Either way, the children didn’t seem to mind at all.  I might just try adjusting the cooking time a bit more if I make these burgers again.

rustlers southern fried chicken burger hacking challenge

The southern fried chicken burgers come with a little sachet of black pepper mayo, which we left off as the children don’t really like peppery things yet.  But we didn’t want to just give them plain burgers so we offered them some healthy toppings to put on them.

We put little bowls of iceberg lettuce and cucumber on the table so that the children could add as much or as little as they wanted to their chicken burgers.

Rhys is a big cucumber fan so put a couple of slices on his burger, along with a good handful of lettuce.  Nerys is like her dad and doesn’t like cucumber at all, so she chose to just put some lettuce on hers.

Rustlers burger hack lettuce cucumber

We also decided to add some tasty sides to our burgers to fill us up nicely ready for a chilly afternoon at the park.

I kept things quite classic with some ready made coleslaw and some homemade sweet potato fries.

Rustlers burger hack coleslaw sweet potato chips

My husband in particular really loves these sweet potato fries, and they’re nice and easy to make and are a great alternative to normal oven chips.

If you want to try them yourself at home, here’s how I make them:

  1. Preheat the oven to about 180 degrees.
  2. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut the knobbly ends off.
  3. Cut them into chips or wedges.  Try and make them all a similar size if you can.
  4. Boil them in a pan of water for about 10 minutes.
  5. Drain the chips and then pop back in the saucepan.
  6. Add some oil and mixed herbs and give the pan a shake to coat all the chips.  We also like to add some sweet chilli sauce to ours at this stage, but left them out when we made them for the children because neither of them are really fans of spice/heat yet!
  7. Tip the chips onto a baking tray and cook in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
  8. Enjoy!

Overall, the whole challenge was a huge success for us.

Rhys declared his burger, complete with cucumber and lettuce, the tastiest thing ever.  So I think we’ll be adding chicken burgers to the menu from now on!  He even tried a few of the sweet potato fries and said he liked those too, although I think he still prefers normal chips at the moment.

Nerys ate about half of her burger, with some lettuce on it and a bit more on the side, which Steve and I were quite happy with as she quite often will only eat a small amount of new foods that she tries.

Rustlers southern fried chicken burger hack

For those busy weekends when it feels like you don’t have time to stop between swimming lessons and birthday parties and football matches and so on, these little burgers are a great option for a quick family meal.

They’re made with good quality chicken, and marinated with a tasty southern fried breadcrumb and can be really easily personalised with toppings to suit different tastes.

And for us they were a perfect way for the children to try out some new flavours and discover some new foods.

child wearing soft unicorn snuggly rascals headphones

Snuggly Rascals children’s headphones review

As a general rule we’re quite relaxed about screen-time in our house.

We don’t really set any strict limits for the children, knowing that they tend to naturally move on to another activity after a while.  So both children do spend time each day playing on the ipad or the computer, and watching videos on YouTube.

I’m quite happy for them to watch random videos of other people’s children opening blind bags and playing with toys, but honestly I don’t always want to hear those videos.  Especially if I’m trying to get some work done, or watch a bit of Sunday Brunch on the tv!

So I was really pleased when we were offered the chance to review a pair of comfy children’s headphones from Snuggly Rascals.
snuggly rascals childrens headphones review

Rhys has got a pair of pretty cool headphones that he wears when I’m not up for listening to the gaming videos he watches on YouTube, but Nerys didn’t have any of her own.

So she was so excited when these arrived in the post, and luckily she was happy with the Unicorn design that I chose for her.

There were eight designs to choose from: unicorn, monster, penguin, cat, plane, giraffe, piggy and chicken and it was actually quite a tough decision to make!  They’re all really cute designs, and a nice variety to suit different ages and tastes.

snuggly rascals headphones in box

The headphones came in a sturdy little box with a window so you could see the cute unicorn design straight away.  The main thing I noticed when I first picked up the box was how light it was, which was a great sign of how comfy they were likely to be.

snuggly rascals headphones in open box

Once we opened the box and took them out we were able to feel quite how soft and snuggly the headphones are – they really do feel lovely.

They’re made from a fleecy material which is machine washable, always a bonus!  You just take the little headphones out of the headband and the pop the headband in a normal wash, so there’s no need to worry about your child getting them grubby.

The headband secures in place around your child’s head with velcro which is great as they’re completely adjustable and can be used by any child of any age really easily.

snuggly rascals headphones unicorn

When Nerys first tried them on to watch a video on my ipad she did complain that she couldn’t hear anything to start with.

I tried adjusting the band a bit but that didn’t make any difference, but then I realised that the little speaker parts of the headphones can move about inside the band as well as come out completely to wash the band.

So it was just a case of feeling for the speakers and moving them to just the right place by Nerys’ ears and then she could hear her video perfectly!

snuggly rascals unicorn headphones 2

I really love the fact that the volume is limited on these headphones, so there’s no way she can turn them up too loud.  I think it’s great to have that peace of mind that her hearing is protected.

You can also feel good buying these for your child because Snuggly Rascals donate 10% of their gross profits to charity.

Nerys has been loving having her very own special headphones to wear when she plays on the ipad at home, and I think they would be really great for her to use in the car too if we go away anywhere.  They’re so light and because they’re made from fleece they can fold up nice and small too, so would easily fit in her backpack for a trip away.

I think we’ll be getting quite a bit of use out of these cute and cosy little headphones!

You can buy Snuggly Rascals headphones directly from their website – www.snugglyrascals.com – as well as from places like Amazon and Argos.

cancer care parcel

Thoughtful gifts from Cancer Care Parcel

When someone you love is diagnosed with cancer it can be so hard to know what to say and what to do.

Quite often our natural instinct is to buy them something, a present of some kind to show that you care and that you’re thinking of them.  But it can be really tricky to know what exactly to send.

This was exactly the issue that Dr Shara Cohen set out to tackle when she set up Cancer Care Parcels.

Thoughtful gifts from Cancer Care Parcel

Dr Cohen was diagnosed with cancer back in 2013, and having gone through treatment herself she understands some of the needs of cancer patients.

She created cancer care parcels both as a way for those living with cancer to bring a bit of calm back into their lives, and also as a way for friends and relatives to buy gifts for loved ones going through treatment when they might otherwise have no idea what to get.

There are various hampers available on from Cancer Care Parcels, so no matter who you’re buying for, or what stage of treatment they’re at, you’ll be able to find something suitable.

I was very kindly sent the little monkey mighty big hamper, for childhood cancer patients, to review.

This huge box is jam packed with lovely gifts for children to give them a bit of a boost while they go through treatment.

The hamper includes:

  • A snugly soft blanket.  Perfect for wrapping up in during treatment when little hands and feet can get cold.  It’s also perfect for creating a cosy spot to rest in either in hospital or at home.
  • A fun monkey pillow.  This is really great for adding a bit of comfort to a hospital bed or a sofa at home, and is also a fun little friend to play with!

cancer care parcel thrown and cushion

  • A handwarmer.  With its cute little fox design, this reusable handwarmer is great for using during treatment to warm up little hands.
  • Soft and snugly gloves.  If they really feel the cold then these lovely soft gloves will be a real treat for them to slip on.

  • A fun monkey backpack.  For carrying all their things to appointments and for hospital stays, this backpack is a great size for keeping everything together.
  • A monkey water bottle.  Children don’t always want to drink as much water as they should, but this monkey water bottle makes the process much more fun!  And what’s really great about it is that is collapses down when it’s empty so it’s really easy to slip in a bag.
  • A woven cool bag.  Perfect for taking small meals and snacks along to appointments, or for keeping things fresh and cool by their bedside.

  • Card game.  Perfect for slipping into a bag to keep children entertained in waiting rooms and while stuck in bed.
  • A bouncy ball.  For when they’re feeling a bit more energetic and want something to chase around.
  • Picture rub art.  A lovely quiet craft activity to keep them occupied when resting at home or in hospital.

cancer care parcel fun and games

  • A notebook and coloured pencils.  For doodling, drawing, and writing down their thoughts and feelings.

  • A powerbank.  For charging various electronic devices, perfect for hospital stays or for keeping them entertained at home.
  • Gold earphones.  Whether they like listening to music or watching random videos on YouTube, with these they can do what they like without disturbing other people in waiting rooms.

  • Sea bands.  Cancer treatment can often leave people feeling sick, and these acupressure wristbands are brilliant at relieving nausea.  They’re also useful for travel sickness if you have to go any distance in the car to get to appointments.
  • Vaseline.  For soothing dry lips.

The hamper also contains:

  • A battery operated bedside light.  This is so pretty and soothing, as it’s a clear bottle shaped lamp with star-shaped lights inside.  There are batteries included in the hamper too, so there’s no need to worry about that.
  • Catch-able bubbles.  For a bit of fun, these bubbles don’t pop, and instead stay on your hands and clothes.  They’re a great way of distracting young children.
  • Glow stick.  Another little item that’s just for fun, to lighten up a stay in hospital or for playing with under blankets at home.
  • Peppermint teabags.  Great for easing feelings of nausea during treatment, and also soothing for parents and carers.
  • Tissues and wipes.
  • Wind up mini fan.  On hot days and on stuffy hospital wards this little fan is great for cooling down.  It’s powered by a handle on the side, and is surprisingly effective!
  • USB light.  Plugs straight into the USB port of any device, or can be plugged into the power bank from the hamper.  Perfect for a spot of reading in bed.

This hamper really is packed with things to bring a bit of comfort and joy to a child going through cancer treatment.

It costs £119.99, while the contents all together are worth £139.38.

I really do think it would be appreciated by any child living with cancer, as there are so many lovely and useful items included.  The mix of practical and fun pieces is just right, and everything included is really lovely quality too.

All the hampers by Cancer Care Parcel have been so well thought out, they really do take some of the worry out of knowing what to send to bring a bit of comfort to loved ones after a cancer diagnosis.
