It’s the summer holidays.
My in-laws have been away and therefore I’ve had no child-free time for the past week.
So, in short, not a lot has been done.
Well, we’ve been to the park, we’ve baked, we’ve played. We’ve been busy. But there’s not been a lot of time for much housework to be done. So today I’m taking comfort in this quote from Sarah Millican.
This summer I will be apologising for not having cleaned my house. The actual cleaning can start in September. Maybe by then I will have found a cleaning routine that works for my family!
He he he. I love this one and it made me giggle as i’ve never thought of it like that before! We are having a less clean home during the holidays but its the only way to get through!
