It doesn’t quite feel like spring here yet. We’ve still been having a lot of wet, windy and slightly wild days. But in amongst that we’ve had some dry spells. I wouldn’t go quite so far as to say we’ve had sunny days, but we’ve had dry ones.
What I’m getting at with that extremely British, weather-based introduction is that we’ve made it out and about a few times recently. And we’ve taken the children’s scooters with us.
Nerys had a fab new one for her birthday. And seeing her whizz round on it has given Rhys the push he needed to give his another go. And he seems to have almost mastered it. He’s definitely growing in confidence with it each time we go out.
So after a mixed set of photos last month for the siblings project, this month I have a set of photos, complete with scooters, from one particular trip to Brynmill park.
I’m really loving watching these two scoot around together.
There’s been no competitiveness between them about it, no “look at me, I can go faster than you”. They’ve just been encouraging each other and enjoying being out together.
Long may that continue!

How cute are they scooting together. My two did a scooting afternoon in our Siblings this month too. They are amazing. We only ever had bikes growing up. Even now I catch myself asking to get on one of the kids scooters to have a scoot too. We need adult ones now to keep up they got too fast for us. That last one is a framer! #siblingsproject
