#ShowYouWereThere round up

‘Show you were there’ round up (weeks twelve and thirteen)

I normally post these round ups every week, on a Sunday.  But last weekend I was away visiting my parents and, despite my best intentions, I didn’t get my round up ready and posted.

So this week I have another double edition for you!

Here are my favourite photos that were shared over on Instagram using #ShowYouWereThere during the last 2 weeks.

Looking all smart for a christening 🙂

It’s a bumper edition this week, as I couldn’t just choose my usual 4 photos!

Thank you so much to everyone who is joining in with #ShowYouWereThere, and an extra thank you to Charlotte from Mummy Fever, Suzy from Our Bucket List Lives, Abbey from The Son and The Moon, Amy from Very Much So, Wendy from Naptime Natter and Elaine from Entertaining Elliot.  I absolutely loved all your photos!

Now my turn.

If there are any fashion experts reading this, you may well want to jump in and correct me here!  But I read the other day that, as part of the whole 90s revival that seems to be going on in the fashion world, bucket hats are back in style.

Which made me very happy, as I’ve been rocking mine since the actual 90s.  I’m pretty sure it came from C&A, that’s how old it is.  Don’t worry though, it does get washed pretty regularly!

So my #ShowYouWereThere photo for this week is me and my old faithful summer hat.  I have to admit though, it’s always been a practical thing rather than a fashion thing.  My parting burns ridiculously quickly if I go out in the sun without my hat on!

If you’d like to join in with my little community and possibly be featured in my next round up (with a nice link back to your blog!) then just share a photo of yourself over on instagram using #ShowYouWereThere.  It’s all about getting more parents in more photos.  And if you’d like to take part in my guest post series ‘The photo I’m thankful for‘ then take a look at this post or email me at thisgloriouslife@gmail.com for more information.
