I can’t quite believe that I’ve made it to week 50 of the Living Arrows project! I’m quite proud about it to be honest.
And I’ve really enjoyed having this reason to take photos of my children every week. Not that I really need a reason, but still.
This week was another pretty quiet one with us, with the wet weather and dark afternoons we didn’t really get out and about much. Well, we did have the school Christmas fair and Rhys’ Christmas concert, but I didn’t take any photos there.
So my Living Arrows photo for this week is of one of those quiet moments at home. Rhys and Nerys sitting together, playing nicely with their play dough.
I couldn’t help it, I just had to grab the camera and get a few photos when I saw nice they were being with each other!

Look at Nerys’ arm around his shoulders!
They might mess around and wind each other up, but they really do love each other so much.
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

We have been having so many of these quiet times! It’s perfect for this time of year, rest and relaxtion is a must. Gorgeous photos as always – and just two more weeks to go! I hope you’ll be joining in next year too x
I encourage you to keep going next year and beyond. Look at how darling your two are together. So sweet and wonderful that they love one another. I love the happy, quiet moments just as much as the exciting or posed for others. I’ve been photographing my kids every week since 2013 and I am so grateful I have all these photos to look back on. I look forward to next year already! So many changes in 3 short years and so noticeable with my treasured pictures.
Gorgeous! It’s definitely harder to take the photos once winter sets in – all of mine are indoors lately which is so much more challenging. These are so lovely – I really love sibling shots and these just perfectly capture those quiet times. Well done on making it nearly the whole way through the year!
