I love studying my children’s faces as they grow, looking out for features and expressions that they’ve inherited from different members of the family.
Nerys looks so like her brother, who in turn looks like his Pops. But then there are moments, fleeting expressions when she looks just like her Nana, and her great-nan too.
Other times, I glance at her and I see my sister, and my Mum.
And sometimes, I even see myself in her, which is quite special I think. After all, I grew her, surely she should look a bit like me every now and then!

Beautiful! I love it when you catch glimpses of family in little ones. Lovely that you can see you too X
It’s just amazing to see isn’t it, those glimpses of different people. x
Beautiful photo! I always find it amazing when I see one of my own expressions reflected on the faces of my little ones too 🙂
Thank you! It’s funny isn’t it, because it makes complete sense that they should look like us, but it’s still surprising at times! x
This was such a beautiful read and I couldn’t agree more! xx #LivingArrows
Oh thank you! x

Thank you so much Donna! x
This is an adorable picture – we’re always trying to work out who are kids look like too, at the moment they don’t seem to look like either of us though 🙂 #LivingArrows
There must be a distant aunt or uncle that they take after! I bet one day you’ll look at them and suddenly see yourselves though! x
Oh my how gorgeous are those eyes! I think it’s rather fantastic that you are able catch a glimpse of all these special people through your daughter’s features and expressions. Xx #livingarrows
It’s wonderful, I love it! x
