Do it now.

I’m a procrastinator.

There, I said it.

It’s not a trait I’m particularly proud of.  In fact, it’s something that has a tendency to leave me feeling stressed, and overwhelmed, and generally just not great.

So I’m trying to change.  Which starts with trying to work out why I procrastinate in the first place.  Which isn’t that easy as it turns out!  I think this one might take some time, and a fair bit of effort.

For now, I’m hoping this quote might spur me on to take action on things NOW, rather than putting them off!

This is definitely a subject matter I want to explore further, so I’d love to know if you have any tips to stop procrastinating?  Please do leave me a comment and let me know!

Lovely quote. It can also be said for spending time and doing things with family. Time is short, don’t waste it.

Very good point! Doing things with the family is something we really should grab the chance to do as often as we can! x

Ah I share this trait. I linked a quote up last summer that said ‘Procrastination is the thief of time’ I printed it out and pinned it above my desk at work. I often glance at it when I’m in two minds and find it helps. However, I have yet to control the urge at home ha! Good luck with it lovely and thank you for linking up to #candidcuddles xxx

Oh that’s a good quote! Maybe I should do the same and print that out where I can see it every day! x

Oh, goodness, I am such a HORRIBLE procrastinator. This is something I’d really like to improve on with myself as well. You know those days when you get to the end of the day and you know you had a whole list of things you wanted to get done but you feel like you did nothing? I don’t want to get to the end of my life and feel that way…
    And life is so short.

Oh wow, that’s quite a scary thought! Motivating though, because I agree, I don’t want to feel that way at the end of my life! x

I think that’s great advice. Putting things off keeps them on our minds which I think is harder work than actually doing them! Thanks so much for sharing with #candidcuddles

Yes! They linger in our minds, taking up valuable space! x
