Add some fun to your teacher wardrobe this year

Don’t you just love that new school year energy?! I remember when I was younger really enjoying picking out a new pencil case and school bag each summer, ready to start the new year with everything fresh and new. And now I get to watch my kids do the same thing, and I love seeing how their tastes change each year as they get older!

If you’re a teacher then you might not have the fun of picking out a new pencil case anymore, but the new school year is a great time to pick up some new additions to your wardrobe to add some fun and personality to your classroom look.

Here are my top picks from Teachersgram.com to give you a bit of inspiration:

‘So many books, so little time’ tote bag

As a teacher you can never have too many tote bags for all the bits and pieces you need to take to school each day, and this design is just perfect for using all year round. Whether you’re an English teacher or just a lover of books this tote bag is just what you need to add a bit of personality to your teacher outfits as you head into the classroom.

‘Kindness is the mark we leave on the world’ t-shirt

Spread the message of kindness with your class with this bright and cheerful t-shirt. It’s one of my favourite teacher t-shirts in the range from TeachersGram with its colourful design and lovely message.

Whatever age group you teach the top will act as a subtle reminder for everyone that spreading kindness is one of the best ways to make a positive impact on the world.

‘It’s a good day to read a book’ sweatshirt

Encourage your students to pick up a book with this pretty, cosy sweatshirt. I love the design of this top and think it would make a great addition to your rotation of teacher clothes. I also love the fact that it doesn’t scream ‘teacher’, so you can wear it when you’re not at work too!

‘Be the sunshine’ t-shirt

The summer might be almost behind us but you can still bring some sunshine to your classroom with this bright yellow t-shirt. If the colour isn’t quite your thing though you can get the same ‘be the sunshine’ design in a range of other colours including white, navy, purple, and red.

The super soft cotton tee will look great with lots of different trouser and skirts, all while sharing a reminder with your students to lift each other up and be the sunshine each day.

So there you have it. My top picks for key pieces to add a bit of fun to your teacher wardrobe this new school year. And if you want something even more special then you need to check out the range of teacher dresses from TeacherGram that’ll give Ms Frizzle a run for her money!
