If you’re heading to London this year, then there are six theatre shows you really must catch. From a great storyline to a show which will transport you back in time to your childhood. These will put a smile on everyone’s face and make you want to head back for more.
Back to the Future
We’ll start with our very own favourite. If you have seen any of the films, you will love this stage version of the franchise.
Without giving too much away, the Doc and Marty are back together and having yet more adventures.
Honestly, we know you’ll love it from curtain to curtain. Form the sight of Marty in the red life preserver, you instantly sink right back into Hill Valley.
Les Misérables
One of the all-time greats, Les Misérables has earned a reputation as a must see. The story line is second to none and the set steps up to match.
There are songs you’ll be singing for the rest of your life and you’ll be happy about it.
If you have seen the film version, you’ll be in for a real treat as the original theatre show proves why it’s earned such a glowing reputation.
Jersey Boys
You will know the tunes but you will have no idea about the stories behind the music. In Jersey Boys you see the truth behind Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and share their journey with them.

Mary Poppins
Everyone’s favourite nanny is now on stage and bringing you a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down.
The sing-along will have you up and about with some childhood classics reverberating through the rafters.
You’ll be transported back to your own childhood from the opening words and then for the next few hours, you’ll live in the happy Mary Poppins world.
Lion King
Disney’s award-winning film adaptation has been stunning audiences for the last 22 years. The audience participation and engagement will keep you talking about this show for months after, and then some more.
Expect to cry and then cheer along with Simba’s journey to adulthood and his accession to the throne of King of the Jungle.
