‘Show you were there’ round up (week fourteen)

Week fourteen, how have you come along so quickly?!

I’m so pleased I took the plunge and started quietly spreading the word about #ShowYouWereThere.  It makes me so happy to scroll though instagram and see people getting in photos with (and for) their children.

And without further ado, here are my four favourites from my little #ShowYouWereThere community last week:

A huge thank you to Cath from BattleMum, Alana from Burnished Chaos, Lyndsay from Fizzy Peaches and  Ruth from Mummy and the Mexicans.  I just love the photos you shared last week, and am so happy that you’re part of my little community!

Now my turn.

Would you believe this photo was taken in May!

After some gloriously sunny weather recently, things have turned a bit gloomy again here in Swansea.  We did still head to the beach though, for a very windy walk and a quick dig in the sand.

I took the chance to hand the camera over to Steve though, who snapped this shot of me.  My mum always says she can tell when he’s the one behind the camera, because of the look in my eyes, and I think I see what she means in this photo!

If you’d like to join in with my little community and possibly be featured in my next round up (with a nice link back to your blog!) then just share a photo of yourself over on instagram using #ShowYouWereThere.  It’s all about getting more parents in more photos.  And if you’d like to take part in my guest post series ‘The photo I’m thankful for‘ then take a look at this post or email me at thisgloriouslife@gmail.com for more information.
