Another week gone, and time for another round up of my favourite photos that have been shared over on instagram with #ShowYouWereThere. In case you don’t know, this is my little community that aims to get more parents in photos, both with their children and for their children.
Here are my top picks for this past week:
🏖Thank goodness it's Thursday, I'm particularly tired this week but for no real reason. My shoutout this morning goes to @pinkpearbear who asked who is taller. A Diplodocus or the Incredible Hulk 😂 the answer was the Diplodocus…. I'd love to know your thought process some days Louise. It made me laugh 🏖
It's been a pretty tough night struggling with feeding and crying but moments like this make it all worth it 😍 Max came toddling along the landing this morning and I heard him whispering to himself "go see Baby Ben!" We've all been enjoying cuddles in bed this morning which is just amazing. Although Max did ask me if there was another baby still in my tummy! 😂
A very big thank you to everyone who is getting involved with my little community and a special thank you to Kirsty from Winnettes, Lucy from Muffin Top Mummy, Katy from Hot Pink Wellingtons and Louise from Mummy Miller for the gorgeous photos you’ve shared this week.
Now my husband’s turn!
More often than not at the moment we will head to Victoria Park by the sea front at some point every weekend. For a blast of fresh air, a walk around, and a play on the swings.
When we all go together, Steve tends to be chief swing-pusher. I think both children prefer when he does it because he pushes them really high. Much higher than I ever do!
I hope when they’re older they’ll have lots of memories of trips to the park as a family, and of Daddy making them shriek with laughter as they swing all the way to the sky.
If you’d like to join in with my little community and possibly be featured in my next round up (with a nice link back to your blog!) then just share a photo of yourself over on instagram using #ShowYouWereThere. It’s all about getting more parents in more photos. And if you’d like to take part in my guest post series ‘The photo I’m thankful for‘ then take a look at this post or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
