Living arrows 2017 – 12/52

We were all set to head out for walk on the beach this Sunday, but woke up to another wet and windy day.

So we went for plan B.  The classic back-up plan of a trip to the local park, when the rain eased up a bit.

We met up with family friends who were in Swansea for the weekend, and it was really lovely.  Their children are almost the same ages as Rhys and Nerys, and while they don’t see each other very often they get on so well when we’re together.

This was Nerys on one end of the see saw, with one of the girls on the other end.

She had so much fun, especially as they were pretty evenly matched weight-wise, so they were able to work the see saw by themselves.  Another one of those little milestones I suppose, the first time they don’t need you to help them balance and push up and down!

Ah, what a fabulous smile! That’s definitely a big moment – mine can’t really use any playground stuff without help yet, that day seems like a long time away! #livingarrows

It’s a gorgeous smile isn’t it! The thing with Nerys is she’s pretty tall for her age, so she can do these things a bit earlier than I would’ve expected! x

What a brilliant photo! A cracking smile she has! Ah, no longer needing mummy to help on the see-saw, a bit of a milestone for both of you! x #LittleArrows

Thank you! I’m pretty sure it was the first time she’d been on with someone who matched her weight, so she really didn’t need my help at all! x

It must be lovely to just let them do the seesaw together and even lovelier to have a catch up with friends you don’t see too often x

Sounds like a great trip out! Monkey isn’t quite there yet on the see saw, hasn’t really thought about it as a milestone but of course it is! Beautiful photo she’s a real cutie xx #LivingArrows
